STEYR@HOME 2022
On the first 3 days, the traditional tractor factory in St. Valentin opened its doors to the public and on the last day all employees and their families were invited. The response from the public was overwhelming and so tens of thousands of visitors came on the first few days to see the modern tractor factory with a provided tour train.
In addition to an extensive exhibition of vintage tractors, which began with the first Steyr Type 180, an outlook on future developments was also presented.
The tractor demonstrations in 8 acts, which were moderated by the former Austrian skier Michaela Kirchgasser, took the visitors on a real journey through the last 75 years of the STEYR brand, from the past to the future.
The event provided a wide range entertainment program. The youngest visitors had fun in the skill parkour on a mini STEYR pedal tractors and in the huge tractor bouncy castle. For the grownups the “man against machine” rope pulling and the STEYR hot wire station were also highlights.
Of course, physical well-being was also taken care of and so the guests had the opportunity to recharge their batteries at regional food trucks or in the marquee at Hendl & Co before they went back to visiting the other attractions.
We congratulate STEYR on your 75th anniversary and here's to another 75 years of tractor history! 😊
